Diversity and inclusion efforts at the Ecological Society of America have arisen independently; from the ESA administration to individual members, many are committed to spearheading efforts that foster retention and recruitment of underrepresented individuals/groups. These efforts aimed at increasing diversity and equity within ESA and the field of ecology have guided the agendas of ESA's numerous sections and chapters. This INSPIRE session showcases the ESA sections and chapters engaged in inclusion and diversity efforts. Speakers will unravel the synergies and distinctions between participating ESA sections and chapters. Join us to learn about what they are up to and how you can become involved!
