ESA is rich with scientists engaged in outreach, professional science communicators, journalists, stand-up comics, and artists united through a love of science and a commitment to share discoveries. ESA’s Communication and Engagement (C&E) Section is dedicated to 1) professionalizing these C&E efforts and 2) providing mentorship for those working to enhance their C&E endeavors or explore new career directions. We host trainings, publish the #MySciComm blog, curate resources on our website, and contribute to ESA governance-level coordination and initiatives. As the C&E Section grows, we invite all ESA members to collaborate, learn, and join with us.
