Diversity and inclusion in the sciences is crucial, because it improves scientific inquiry, and most importantly because it is equitable and just. The mission of Inclusive Ecology, a recently-established Ecological Society of America Section, is to support and develop initiatives that increase inclusion of underrepresented groups in the field of ecology. Learn about what we have been up to in our first two years, and most importantly, help us shape the future of our section!
