NATURA promotes an international network of networks focusing on nature-based solutions (NBS) with the vision of advancing urban resilience in face of growing threats of extreme weather events. We conducted a Horizon Scan survey asking researchers and practitioners working within 26 networks world-wide to identify emerging challenges related to implementing NBS in the next 10 and 60 years. We identified challenges including: climatic phenomena, social-economic issues, changing urban forms, decarbonization, and ecosystem; and ways to overcome these challenges with the leverage a network of networks can provide that a single network cannot.
