Creating inclusive educational opportunities in ecological forecasting

Forecasting the near-term future is a motivating call to action for students in our era of rapid environmental change. Learning forecasting methods and applications presents opportunities for cross-disciplinary training at the intersection of ecological theory and modeling, data science, communication, and collaboration with stakeholders.
