Degrees in ecology open doors on a wide array of post-graduate opportunities, but understanding what careers are available and how to position yourself for those careers can be elusive and daunting. This Inspire session will bring together ecologists from different professions to discuss what their current career looks like and how they got there. Specifically, we will highlight the journeys of ecologists working in tenure track positions from small and large universities, program managers, and researchers in industry, non-profit organizations, and national laboratories. This is will be an excellent opportunity to hear more about the diversity of ecological careers available and make connections with ecologists from a variety of organizations.
