#FindThatLizard: Ecology and science communication

Science communication takes many forms, from presentations at scientific conferences, science nights at elementary schools, and even hashtags on social media. Every week science games such as #CougarOrNot by Dr. Michelle LaRue, #CrowOrNo by Dr. Kaeli Swift, and #FindThatLizard by myself, Earyn McGee MSc., reaches millions of people on social media. Through these games we are able to share information about the animals we study and the science we do. This talk will focus on the evolution of my hit social media game #FindThatLizard and give you tips on how you too can engage a broader audience on social media.
