Ever wanted to see your research in the news? Ever been contacted by a reporter about your exciting results, but didn’t know the next steps or how to communicate effectively?

Attend this workshop to learn the dos and don’ts of communicating with journalists and other media. This hands-on session will provide participants with an overview of how to talk about your science for greater public awareness and engaging news hooks.

An overview presentation will be capped by mock interviews with other participants acting as ‘journalists’ to give workshop participants an opportunity to test their communication skills.

Registration Fee: $0
