The movies that made me a botantist

When Jurassic Park came out in theaters, I was instantly obsessed with the movie and the character of paleobotanist Dr. Ellie Sattler. Who knew you could get a job with plants?! Films like Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, Ferngully, and Little Shop of Horrors showed me the good and the bad of plant science. In my inspire talk, I will discuss these movies and others that helped shaped me into becoming a botanist.
