SEEDS: A keystone experience

As an undergraduate unsure about which direction to take, my experience with SEEDS was transformative. The support and guidance offered by my SEEDS mentors helped convince me to pursue a career in ecology. However, it was my time as a SEEDS mentor that showed me the true value of the program. Some of my early mentees are now role models for me and my students, and their work has supported my own ideas in outreach and research. Truthfully, of the many resources I have benefited from, SEEDS has had a disproportionately large impact on my career as an ecologist.
