243, New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center
After testing the strength of biotic and environmental resistance in the face of propagule pressure for my PhD, I expanded my landscape ecology skills as a postdoctoral fellow. My second postdoc in science policy research segued into a faculty position, where I gained tenure investigating species response to climate change. I became a program officer at NSF for both professional and personal reasons. The best part of my job is evaluating cutting-edge science and having a vision for what’s on the horizon of ecological science. My career has evolved as I strive for career – life balance.
