The AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellowship program provides PhD holding scientists and engineers the opportunity to participate in the federal policymaking process, using their scientific knowledge and analytical skills, to address pressing societal challenges of today. You will be shown careers beyond the traditional academic path, and presented with multiple opportunities for professional development and career growth. The AAAS fellows program began in 1973 and there are currently over 3000 alumni. One of the highlights of the program is the immediate strong and supportive network, with fellows throughout the world, in all branches of government, NGOs, and academic disciplines.
