243, New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center
As a PhD student, I received funding and instrumental logistical support from the National Park Service. In return, I developed an exhibit explaining the ecological importance of phenological mismatches and climate change. This exhibit is in both English and Spanish, to reach the diverse audience of the Rock Creek Park Nature Center, in Washington, DC where it is located. Communicating complex ecological processes through images and engaging text was one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences I had as a graduate student and it was only possible through collaboration with the outstanding staff of the National Park Service.
