Ever see all those visitors to national parks and consider engaging them in data collection? So did I! I will share a new way to interact with visitors who are looking for hands-on education on their trips to national parks or other federal lands. The scientist sets up geocache sites on a website, including locations, hints, training photos and text, and questions for the public to answer. The public downloads the ScienceCache app, chooses a route, and sets off on a treasure hunt learning about their park to collect the data that you need! Glacier National Park featured here.
