CANCELLED - Seeds of peace: pathways to transforming conflict

Despite a long history of peacebuilding in many regions of the world, conflict remains persistent, or states of peace fleeting. How does transformation towards peaceful communities and societies occur and what can facilitate this process at local and regional levels? We have identified novel initiatives that appear to be currently transforming, or have the potential to generate transformation, towards peace and stability. By analyzing emerging patterns from a cross comparison of such “seeds of peace” we identify key features of these initiatives and explore how they can be nurtured or scaled in order to contribute to resilient peace.
