Building research communities and networks across ALL of the Américas: One discussion at a time

How can we, as members of ESA, foster thriving research communities and networks across the Américas, especially including América Latina? We can start by 1.) having discussions with scientists outside of the U.S., 2.) creating scientific content in Español for broad audiences, 3.) inspiring the next generation of ecologists, and 4.) highlighting Latino/a scientists. This is the goal of ConCiencia En Las Américas, a livestreamed show where invited scientists from across the Américas have discussions in Español. The first season of ConCiencia had thousands tune-in from over 20 countries and has helped strengthen scientific networks across the Américas.
