2021 ESA Annual Meeting (August 2 - 6)

Connecting to SABER to advance 4DEE teaching

On Demand
Jennifer L. Momsen, Department of Biological Sciences, North Dakota State University;
The Society for the Advancement of Biology Education Research (SABER) is dedicated to developing theory and generating evidence to promote and improve post-secondary biology education. Members include ecologists whose research focuses on student understanding of ecological concepts and instructional interventions; however, many of us have limited experience with the 4DEE framework. SABER offers multiple opportunities to introduce the 4DEE framework to our members and also promote 4DEE teaching and research on the framework through: (1) active asynchronous discussion through Google Groups, (2) synchronous discussion through our annual meetings, (3) expertise in biology education research, and (4) leadership in biology education.
