INS 18 Abstract - Open code for open data: Shared code resources to facilitate use of NEON data

Open and accessible datasets are an amazing resource to have, especially as ecologists devise better technologies and processes to collect data. But they aren’t automatically easy to integrate into a reproducible and transparent workflow. Learn how NEON reduces the barriers to entry by providing a wide variety of open code sources to help users transparently ingest, munge, and work with NEON’s data. Available resources range from code packages that can be used in automated workflows to teaching materials for educators to bring into the classroom. The best part? You can contribute your ideas and code to improve this resource!
