Description: DIVERSITY IN ECOLOGY: THEN AND NOW An Inaugural Diversity Forum for All Interested in Advancing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice in the Ecological Sciences It's been 25 years since the first Women and Minorities in Ecology workshop was held by ESA! Join us in this inaugural diversity Forum for a celebration of diversity initiatives in ESA and a look ahead into how together, we can advance diversity, equity, inclusion and justice in the ecological sciences and within ESA. Today, ESA has numerous sections and programs focused on diversity. More remains to be done. Your ideas and participation are needed. The forum will open with a panel of speakers, followed by facilitated table topics of interest to attendees. There will also be a Diversity Programs, Grad School and Careers Fair where ESA attendees may display information about their initiatives, programs or opportunities. For more information on how to sign up and sponsorship opportunities: https://www.esa.org/esa/diversityforum/ Enjoy the unique taste of New Orleans Jambalaya at the forum!
