Have you ever experienced or watched an incident of harassment or bullying and wondered what you could do to stop it? If you want to:
- practice setting and holding clear boundaries;
- resist harassment when you are the target without escalating the incident; and
- intervene safely and effectively when you witness harassment
then this workshop is for you. This session will offer practical skills and options for addressing harassment in the moment, whether you are the target or a bystander. We’ll talk about what harassment is; why and how harassers harass; and why active bystanders are needed to end harassment; and the five steps to being an active bystander. Using real-life scenarios, we’ll practice skills and explore intervention options and ways to step up and step in as an ally.
Registration Fee: $0
