EREN has been successful in reaching many ecologists, but can we do better? To answer this question, we must ask more questions: Who are EREN members? Where do we work? What species do we study? In what ecosystems? At what levels of biological organization? How can we broaden our diversity of projects, ecoregions, locales and study organisms to better attract ecologists and their students from a more diverse array of institutions? I will summarize our project types and membership, and explore our options and challenges as we work to expand EREN’s diversity in multiple dimensions.
