How do we know if an insect species is threatened or endangered? Can we infer International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) or United States Department of Agriculture threatened and endangered status from natural history collection specimens? It might be possible! The author hopes to get you excited about the probability by utilizing data science methods, and a large species interaction dataset for plant bugs and their plant hosts.
