A long standing assumption was that ecological dynamics and evolutionary dynamics occurred on different time scales. Early work illustrated scenarios in which these times scales interact in complicated and intricate ways that cannot be ignored. That has been followed by a flurry of work in the eco-evolutionary-feedback paradigm. I am interested in seeing us examine the applicability of this paradigm, while it remains an active area of research. Does the recent and ongoing research represent special cases or truly broad scenarios? Or does the paradigm need time to mature?
